Services - Technical Data Reporting

With over 30 years of combined wireline, production, well testing and pressure transient analysis experience in the petroleum industry, the Data Services Group at CalScan can take care of all your pressure tests interpretation and reporting requirements. We prepare Technical reports for Static/Flowing gradients and all pressure transient test types summarizing well and test information into a comprehensive report. This report includes the appropriate tables, plots with annotations and discussions to make the next step of analysis easy. Our team of Reservoir Engineers at CalScan can also supply further analysis by preparing a quality Pressure Transient Analysis (PTA) reports for evaluation of the Reservoir.

Gauge Accuracy Monitoring and Data Validation

Being the designer and manufacturer of recorders we are intimately familiar with how pressure recorders work. This allows us to make quality control an integral part of our reporting process. When we start processing the data from a test, the pressure and temperature differential data is reviewed for abnomialies before conducting further analysis. This helps to insure the resulting data is accurate and that your gauge are running to specifications. If a gauge needs service we will imform you, this helps to elliminate running a malfunction gauge on another test.

PAS FILES and OGC-PST Forms

Calscan can generate, validate and submit SG/TRG/AOF AEUB PAS files as well as OGC-PST forms for submissions to BC-OGC. If further anyalsis is need we have the engineers and resources to conduct pressure transient analysis for extended tests in house. After the anaylsis is done we can validate and submit the TRG PAS files that do not qualify as is for EUB/OGC submissions

Report Speed

Typically reports are usually generated in under 3 days. Reports are processed on a "FIRST IN - FIRST OUT" basis but with our highly dedicated team on call, we also have a 24 hour rush service available. Rush reports are subject to surcharges

Technical Reports Available

All our reports comply with Industry standards, EUB and OCG for service company technical reporting. Well identifiers (Bottomhole / Surface) can be:

• DLS (e.g. 100/01-02-034-05W6/0)
• NTS (e.g. 200/a-011-B/095-P-18/00)
• Custom form

Depths converted from measured to TVD for directional or horizontal wells as long as legible deviation summary is provided at no extra charge.
